Description: This course has a total of 8 short lessons each about an hour in length, made up of reading assignments, videos and a reflection exercises. By the time you complete this course, you will have the tools and insights you need to express your anger in ways that are healthier and more helpful to you, as well as your family and co-works.
Objectives:
1) To learn to manage anger effectively.
2) To decrease rage before it results in violence or the threat of violence.
3) To build self-efficacy involving thoughts and actions.
4) To decrease the frequency and intensity of anger.

Other information: After each lesson, you will take a short quiz. You must score at least an 80 on each test before you can proceed to the next lesson. When you finish reading all the lessons and passing all the tests with a grade of at least 80, you will receive a certificate of completion to present to your probation officer or to the court.

If you are taking the online anger management class because of a court, probation or other legal requirement and the anger management class is not accepted by the judge, probation officer or other person legally requiring New Hope Care will refund your money in full with written proof of decline. An acceptable “proof of decline” must be provided on official department/agency letterhead and signed by the judge, probation officer or the other legal entity requiring the class. Your refund request must be received within 60 days of purchase.
